When a series of pictures of dead continued visits by the human eye, then a miracle happened. If the pictures are played quickly it will show a smooth movement, this is the basic principle of film, video and animation. The number of images that appear every second is called the frame rate. It takes a minimum frame rate of 10 fps (frame rate per second) to produce a smooth movement. The films we saw at the cinema is a film that is projected with a frame rate of 24 fps, while video we see on television about a frame rate of 30 fps (actually 29.97 fps) for countries that use the standard format NTSC (National Television Standards Comitte) the United States, Japan, Canada, Mexico and Korea. For the countries of Indonesia, UK, Australia, Europe and China, the standard video format used is the format PAL (Phase Alternate Line) with a frame rate of 25 fps. While in France, the Middle East and Africa, using a standard video formats SECAM (Sequential Couleur Avec Memoire) with a frame rate of 25 fps.
Glance Pixel Aspect Ratio
Pixel aspect ratio describes the ratio of width to height ratio of a pixel in an image. Frame aspect ratio describes the ratio of width to the height of the dimensions of a picture frame. For example, D1 NTSC has a 0.9 pixel aspect ratio (width 0.9 height of 1 unit) and has also frame 4:3 aspect ratio (4 units wide by 3 units high).
